Dange is a qualified teacher. She is creative by nature and plans stimulating materials to inspire learners. Her classroom environment is welcoming and collaborative. Her students know she is there for them, supports them, and believes in them. She is confident that each student is unique and learns in their own way. Therefore, she differentiates her methods to account for everyone. Her lessons allow students to speak without fear of judgment because she believes all students are a community of learners who always support one another. She is an advocate for kindness, positivity, and a hard work ethic. Dange understands classroom management techniques, the importance of pair /group work, and enhanced student talking time. When planning the lessons, her strengths are presenting innovative lessons designed to stimulate, motivate, and engage learners. Mature and lively, she has a variety of outside interests and remains committed to improving her teaching skills, further contributing to the learners’ success. She enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures. Ballet is her absolute passion. In addition, she loves books. She loves reading “traditional” texts (books), but she also sees the value in emphasizing that other forms of media can be seen and interpreted in the same way. When teaching reading, she loves to focus on the relationships between characters in a text. She thinks students may not like a novel's plot, setting, or style but may become attached to a particular character if presented as an individual.
